There is parking in the park by the leisure centre and the road loop shown above is in the middle of the park. However, the rest of the park is often used by local clubs for cross country sessions during the autumn and winter so that is another option.

If you wanted, you could run from here to Pollok Park, and even several other south side parks, on a pleasant easy run provided you could find your way between each one.
