Route details

Park in the Ben Venue car park just over Duke’s Pass, by Brig O’Turk and Loch Achray. Follow the way marked trail into and through the woods, initially flat then steeply climbing. As you leave the woodland the way markers end but all you need to do is follow the main track you are on up to the pass over the bealach.

From the bealach there are brilliant views towards Ben Lomond. Head right/north to begin the final climb up to the summit. There are a few short section where hand may touch rock but it is mostly a good trail. Visit the twin summits, take in the stunning views over Loch Katrine and the Trossachs, before retracing your steps to get back.
