Dramatic Scenery
Northern Scotland is the area everyone thinks of when they hear Scotland. Dramatic mountain landscapes, stunning glens, and peaceful lochs. You would be forgiven for thinking many of these routes would be hill runs but long pristine bike paths, the great glen canal, and dirt roads down the full length of many lochs offer a lot of flatter options too.
I have included the Highland council, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Moray, and most of the Islands in this section.
