Route details

There is a large car park in the middle of Aberfoyle, which is conveniently close to the Station cafe. From here head out of the west side of the car park, turn left down the small road and keep an eye out for the way markers signposting the Aberfoyle trails.

Once onto the gravel roads just follow the way marked route for the Aqueduct loop. The route follows fantastic gravel roads through the forest and on a clear day there are brilliant views over to Ben Lomond and the surrounding hills. There are endless combinations of trails so the way markers really help simplify the route choices, with a shorter and longer way marked route also available. Visit the Gravelfoyle website for further details on exploring the whole area, particularly by bike.
