Route details

There is some parking in Drymen and from here just follow the West Highland Way south towards Milngavie. This follows an old railway line to Dumgoyne distillery, at which you will leave the West Highland way and climb the lower slopes of Dumgoyne hill to reach the pipe track.

Once at the pipe track head north to Killearn, dropping down and through the village before following Gartness road back to the West Highland Way. From here retrace your steps. There are some fantastic views on this route and it is mostly on soft surface, making it great for an easy run.
