A good time on feet long run with a significant amount of climbing, but not for 4 munros and nothing overly steep.
local coffee fix
House of Bruar is always worth a stop if heading back south. If going north, the Railway Cafe in Kingussie is supposed to have good coffee and Aviemore no doubt has a few options too.

Route details
There is parking at Balsporran Cottages, as well as a lay-by around a mile south by the A9 bike path. Cross over the railway and head West/South-West to head up the hill taking you to the long ridge the route follows. Ignore the first track to your right and take the second. The route is clear to follow over the first and towards the second munro. Here there is a short out-and-back, unless doing the shorter option detailed below.
Once the out and back is done head south west following the obvious path to the ridge of munro number 3. Head over the south side of this hill and at the 7.5 mile point keep an eye out for a path going east. This next section is a little harder to follow if in cloud as the path thins a little and it is quite a wide plateau. A cairn marks the summit and the path becomes clearer down to the main track that descends to the bike path running alongside the A9, of which you have around 2.5 miles back to the car.
SHORTER OPTION. If you want to split this route in half, after reaching the second munro head straight down the hill towards the start rather than doing the out and back described above. To do the bottom half park at the southern end of the route where you join the bike path, or slightly north in a lay-by, and head directly west on the main track you will descend down later. After around 2.5-3 miles keep an eye out for a path on the right climbing to the ridge and then follow the route described above until you reach your car. Both shorter options will be around 7-8 miles with 2000-2500ft of climbing.
