The only track in the Borders, an obvious place for sessions and with a back drop of the Eildon hills. For warm up and cool downs you can run along the Tweed and if you want to start with some tempo work then there are good loops around the industrial estate or around the whole of Tweedbank, which is a 2.3 mile loop. Check availability before going as local clubs usually have it booked Monday-Thursday at certain times.

Selkirk Industrial Loop
A flat, smooth 2.8 mile loop that is great for road sessions and tempo runs. It is lit at night and can be combined with the Old Tweed bridge tempo loop in the daylight.

A 6.1 mile loop with a 1.7 mile loop in the middle that could be used if you want a smaller route. Loop has no lights so not good at night.
