Taking your time on The best routes over and around Scotland’s Hill

These are a collection of my favourites routes on Scotland’s hills that I would prefer to walk rather than run. Usually because the terrain is rough or pathless.

I will document my favourite routes, viewpoints, and things of interest on the major prominent hills of Scotland in a bid to encourage others to try different routes to the summit of their favourite hills, rather than sticking to the baggers paths. Not only does this increase the enjoyment and sense of adventure, but it also reduces the burden of concentrated footfall on many of our most popular hills.

I intend each link to take you to some blog posts about the corresponding hill, rather than a route page.
